Below is a link to a picture gallery containing pictures of Uncle Charlie’s accident that occurred November 15th, 2007, near Madill, OK. This happened on his way to set up for his final concert of the year in TX with Rachel Sanchez.

Charlie was driving alone, going down a 2 lane highway at the speed limit of 65mph. Another vehicle was coming the opposite way, also doing 65mph. It suddenly for unknown reasons got in to Charlie’s lane and hit him head on. There was no reaction time, no brakes involved; only a direct impact of 130mph. Both the driver and passenger in the other vehicle were killed instantly.

After seeing the pictures, you will agree that it is truly a miracle that Uncle Charlie was able to survive such an impact. Only God’s amazing power and Grace could have rescued him from that! (Uncle Charlie was driving the Chevrolet Trailblazer rental.) We allow these selected pictures taken by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol to be viewed so that God can be given glory for sparing Uncle Charlie’s life. We encourage only adults to view the pictures and ask that you use discretion in which children you allow to see these pictures.

Charlie has made a remarkable recovery from multiple injuries, but is still dealing with neurological and post traumatic issues that have kept him sidelined at least through the summer of 2008. Please keep Uncle Charlie in your prayers as he continues to recover. God has a great ministry ahead for Him!
